Reviews

The Thrunite TN12 is a very high-quality EDC flashlight upgraded from the 2014 last year in 2016. It has a new design with a black pocket clip and updated mode switch. The flood on the TN12 makes for a great work night light - rather than tactical.

Thrunite is a Chinese flashlight manufacturer that sells EDC lights, pen lights and tactical flashlights.

The TN12 Thrunite is perfect for:

  • Security
  • Hunting
  • Camping and Outdoors

While it is classified as a tactical flashlight, the beam from the light has good spill for less-focused illumination.

The Thrunite TN12 2016 version uses a smooth reflector and has a maximum throw / beam distance of 226 meters (m).

Peak Beam Intensity

The side switch is for cycling between the different outputs. You can activate strobe mode by holding the side switch for one second.

It’s very user-friendly and easy to remember having the tail-switch solely designated for on-off and the side switch for changing the output modes.

Material and Durability

Thrunite has a good reputation for having really solid glass lens’. They don’t get as scuffed up as other flashlights - which can affect the light’s beam over time.

Overall, the TN12 Thrunite holds up very well in extreme weather conditions: heavy rain, hail or cold weather.

Impact Resistance

The TN12 is extremely sturdy with 1.5 meters of impact resistance.

Waterproof / Water Resistance
